Owners of a highly rated hotel in Blackpool have called out against a review left on a social media group complaining about the rooms shower.A&P at The Sheron House is a bed and breakfast based just a street away from Blackpool’s promenade, towards the North pier.On TripAdvisor, the hotel is rated 5 out 5 with 129 ‘Excellent’ reviews left by previous guests and only one ‘Terrible’ review.

After seeing a negative comment left about the hotel on a Facebook group the owners decided to put things straight and quash the claims made against their place.On February 15, one person left this comment about a stay they head with the B&B: “Don’t stay in the top room of The Sheron B and B. Your shower will be freezing cold.

In response to this comment, Phillip Charles- co-owner of the hotel said: “No wasn’t brought to our attention and there is a clear sign on the shower that states the pressure is low when everyone else is showering. It goes without saying.

“You would not be welcome back at our establishment. Your very rude and this is an uncalled for remark when it was actually 4 months ago plus since your first and final stay with us and hopefully other establishments who see this ridiculous remark will remember your name when booking.

“It’s people like you slandering business that cause detrimental effect and hard working owners the cause to give up. You pathetic lady.”Despite being able to respond to the comment, Philip says comments left on social media can harm many independent business who are always inundated with pressures.
