A body has been discovered by the police looking for missing woman in Lancashire.Ioan Butnariu last observed on the streets of Blackburn the previous Saturday (December 10, 2010). Tragically an unidentified body believed to be that of Ioan was discovered this morning (December 16) in Higher Croft Wood off Roman Road, Blackburn. The death has not been considered suspicious.A announcement issued by Lancashire Constabulary says: “A body has been discovered today (Friday 16th December) in the hunt to find missing lady Ioan Butnariu. Ioan 20-year-old Ioan had not was seen for a while since last Saturday (December 10) after she went missing in Blackburn.
“The death isn’t being treated as suspicious, and the file will be handed over to the coroner at the appropriate course. Our prayers are with Ioan’s family in this sorrowful and difficult time.We would like to also thank all those who assisted in the search for Ioan and his family, including Pennine Mountain Rescue, Bolton Mountain Rescue and Lancashire Fire and Rescue.”
A CCTV appeal was today to find an individual who was caught on CCTV walking along Roman Road and passed the intersection that connects to Walton Crescent, Blackburn, at 4.52am on Saturday.
