Coronation Street stars Joe Duttine and Joe Carman have shared a glimpse of their romantic honeymoon in Italy. After previously having to cancel their wedding plans, the co-stars – Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe- have just tied it After their wedding, Sally (41) and Joe (52), have spent the first few weeks as newlyweds traveling around Italy’s hotspots.
The couple described it as “the gift which keeps on giving” and took to social media to share updates with their fans about their trip to Italy via Instagram. The couple is seen in the first photo enjoying delicious food and drinks while sitting outside with their friends. The second picture shows Sally at an opera dinner. A third photo captures Sally and her husband taking a selfie in Verona.
The actress also took a trip to Lake Garda, where she snapped a photo on a sunlounger. Sally, however, couldn’t help but to gush about her husband in another photo and declare: “Fit husband!” She also posted a second picture of Joe and said, “Didn’t you know that I just got married?” #justgotmarried #husband.”
Corrie fans were thrilled to see the couple on their romantic break. One commented: “Ahhh, so happy for both of you!” It seems like yesterday that you “met”. We send you love and hugs.

Sally and Joe, who met on the ITV soap in 2018, began dating this month. To share a photo from her wedding day, the actress took to Joe wore a long, floor-length blue gown with long sleeves to celebrate the happy occasion.
As they kiss and smooch before a circle filled with balloons, the couple looks totally in love. Sally captioned the photo to announce their union. The couple, now married, had originally planned to wed last year but decided to wait due to uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
