It was obvious from the beginning,” Linney told Collider in July 2017 about her decision to join the team. “I was not looking to make an entire series however I’ve always deeply admired Jason. I’d had the pleasure of meeting him several times in a social setting, and I’ve always been awed by him. I’d always believed and believed that he could have an extensive range of interests than what he’s had the chance to explore. I was very happy for him that he would explore a new kind of genre.
