A father-to-be’s son died tragically in a motorcycle crash just two days prior to Christmas. Lewis Taylor, 22, from Burnley was scheduled to become a father at the beginning of March.He had been involved in a crash with a car on Harold Street in Burnley at about 12.55pm on December 23 and emergency services discovered Mr. Taylor with severe injuries. He died on the spot shortly after.
His girlfriend, who is currently in the hospital, has offered a heartfelt tribute to her husband that was “always smiling”.Kayleigh Ruth wrote: “Lewis was a well-loved step-dad, boyfriend , and daddy to be. I’m about to deliver the baby in the month of March. Lewis could not wait to be a father. He was a cheerful and outgoing man who never stopped smiling and was willing to assist anyone.”On the morning of his step-daughter’s day, Lewis went on a trip out with his pals on his bicycle. He didn’t return home.
The coordinator of the GoFundMe campaign, Linzi Alderson wrote: “As many people know, this day, 23.12.2020 the town of Burnley lost a Legend Lewis Taylor at only 22 years old. This is not the age at which you should have your life taken away from you.
“Let us unite as a whole and offer Lewis the proper send-off that he merits. Lewis will be loved by all and most especially his baby girl who’s scheduled to be born within the next 11 weeks.
“I would like to encourage people to spread widely and to spread the word and regardless of how small your contribution will be, don’t forget to in everyone can say thanks for your time and for your help.”Tributes have been flooding through Facebook from family members and family members who paid tribute to the 22-year old.
One of them, believed to be his girlfriend , wrote: “My beautiful face. I will never let you scent go. I will cherish our moments for the rest of my life. You were my friend. We shared everything .. My right hand.. my discomfort in my bum.. my protector angel for all time. Please keep me close and I’m sure you’ll remain with me until the child is born. !
A different friend told me: “Miss you brother. Rest in peace. Gone and never forgotten. It’s amazing that they will only accept the best.”A third friend said: “I’d give every last thing I can to get him back for his family. I’m not sure the right words to use … I have my heart broken for everyone of you that’s all it is. much, but it’s the most I can do, and if it’s no way for me to help, it’s the only thing I can do..
Taxi company Your Local Cars said: “Our most sincere thoughts are with those who love Lewis Taylor (22) who passed away this morning in Burnley in an accident that was tragically fatal.
