Fans of I am A Celebrity were quick to point out how familiar Matt Hancock’s embrace was with Gina Coladangelo as he left the jungle. The competition saw the former health secretary finish third, with Owen Warner (Hollyoaks actor) and Jill Scott (new queen of the jungle), finishing ahead. The MP talked about his controversial decision to participate in ITV’s reality show after he left the Australian jungle. He stated that he was aware of the controversy surrounding his decision to come here. However, he also acknowledged that people in similar situations should not be put in embarrassing situations. We’re all human, and all of us have been there.
He said, “I made it clear to everyone that I was going be completely me as if the cameras weren’t there and that’s exactly what I did. That’s what I am in private! After his exit interview, Matt crossed over the bridge to be greeted by Gina, his girlfriend. The pair shared a close hug, kiss and kiss with viewers as Matt told his partner, “I love you so much.”

After spending 18 days in the Australian jungle, he was suspended from the Conservative party’s parliamentary party. He has also been criticised by fellow colleagues like Rishi Sunak. The Prime Minister stated that he was disappointed in his colleague’s decision not to show up on the reality TV show from more than 10,000 miles away.
