Alfredo Morelos, Colombian international striker, has been hurt since March. He is now back in the squad to face Kilmarnock at the Scottish Premiership. Giovanni van Bronckhorst asks for improvement after Rangers’ defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise during their Champions League qualifier

Alfredo Morelos is the Rangers’ attacker. He has been part of the majority of the Premiership games in 2020/2021. He made 29 appearances and played 2,087 minutes. He played in 26 of the 38 matches and was substituted on three occasions.

Morelos made his last Premiership appearance on May 15th, playing 62 minutes against Aberdeen. This season, Morelos has scored 12 Premiership goals. That is the fourth-highest total in the competition for 2020/2021. Eight yellow cards were issued to him.

Morelos’ last goal was against Celtic on May 2, when he scored a 4-1 win. His first goals in the campaign were the 3-0 win against St. Mirren, which he scored two times.

Rangers’ Morelos, who played 26 Premiership matches last season, scored 12 goals and assisted one.

Morelos played 12 league games at HJK before joining Rangers in June 2017. He scored 11 goals.

Morelos was absent from the final of last season’s Europa League final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, Seville, and the Scottish Cup final win over Hearts at Hampden Park. The Gers striker and fan favourite, Morelos, is available to contribute again.

Van Bronckhorst stated to Rangers TV that Alfredo would be joining the squad.

After Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat in Belgium by Union Saint-Gilloise , Gers fans need to hear some good news . Van Bronckhorst is aware of this. Former Gers player stated that the first emotion she felt was disappointment.

After analysing the game with the players, I felt the same way. We were disappointed in our performance, and we all wanted to change it tomorrow with Kilmarnock.

We need to improve our performance against Kilmarnock. Our positions, speed of play and movement are all areas that we must improve upon. Runs, creating opportunities, and other aspects are also important.
