LOUIS Saha Maturie was charged with six counts each of rape, and one of sexual assault.Cheshire Constabulary confirmed that this case is related to the case of Manchester star Benjamin Mendy, who is charged with seven counts of rape against five women over 16 years old.

Matturie is charged with four people over 16 years of age. They are alleged that they were committed between March 2021 to August 2021.
The 40-year old appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday, September 6, 2021. He was then remanded in custody to Friday, September 10.
Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said that the Crown Prosecution Service has authorized Cheshire Constabulary’s to indict a second man for sexual assault allegations.
“Cheshire Constabulary, the Crown Prosecution Service and I would like to remind you all that Matturie’s criminal proceedings against Mendy are still ongoing and that they have a right for a fair trial.
“It is vital that no online reporting, commentary, or sharing of information could adversely affect ongoing proceedings.”
Mendy and Matturie are set to face trial next January 24th, but Judge Patrick Thompson stated that it was “unrealistic”.
